Air Entrained Concrete

Haakon Industries manufactures custom designed HVAC (air-handling) equipment for the North American market. Haakon operates a 66,586 ft2 sheet metal manufacturing plant in Cheney Washington. The 6” interior floor slab needed replacing at joints and heavy traffic areas due to wear & breaks caused by steel wheeled carts. The construction project also included an addition to the facility. After considering the available options, the consulting engineers recommended HARD-CEM. 

The project required 1,276 yards of concrete with HARD-CEM. The full depth concrete hardening abilities of HARD-CEM makes it the logical solution for concrete floors in high traffic and high wear (high abrasion) environments.
